LIVING NEWSPAPER

Read the news, and then experience the news.

“Living Newspaper” is a theatrical form of bringing current news to the forefront, for audiences to digest. Each week students are paired at random and are assigned to devise an original piece based off a news article from that week. They also prepare weekly “Newsflashes,” that run in tandem with the entire performance.

Performances run every Thursday at noon for roughly 30 minutes in the Studio Theater (Theater and Dance East - 1101), culminating with a final performance on either Fabulous Friday (June 7th), or Super Saturday (June 8th), a BFA-wide day of students’ quarterly work.
