Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig premieres new play in London

The Head of Playwriting, Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig, premieres new play The King of Hell's Palace in London's Hampstead Theatre.

The play is about a story [the Henan AIDS crises] that has been suppressed in China and based on the story of a former Chinese public health official who was a whistleblower, with whom Frances conducted extensive interviews and worked with on the development of the play over the past six years.

The play begins public performances in London Thursday, September 5 and runs through mid-October.
