2025 LAUNCH PAD Summer Reading Series

 

The LAUNCH PAD Summer Reading Series invites professional playwrights to join the UC Santa Barbara community as artists-in-residence as the main component of a summer theater course. In three fast-paced four-day workshops, students learn the vital and specialized skills of working on plays in the earliest stages of their development. At the end of each week, a reading of the play is shared with its very audience. 

 

The 2025 Series features award-winning writers Louis Bayard, Melinda Lopez, and Lia Romeo. We hope you'll join us!
