LECTURER POSITIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF THEATER AND DANCE
Possible areas of specialization: Technique (ballet, modern, street dance, gaga, hip hop and/or jazz), Music for Dance, Embodied Anatomy, Choreography/Improvisation
The Department of Theater and Dance invites applications for lecturer positions on an ongoing basis. Appointment positions are variable in terms of percentage of time with the possibility of reappointment that is dependent upon performance and departmental needs. The department is currently recruiting for fall, winter, spring, and summer of the 2023-24 academic year.

The Department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service. Salary is based on UC’s salary scales and depends on qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS
MFA degree or 5 years professional experience in the candidate's area of specialization at the time of application.
5 years teaching experience in applicable specialty including Technique (ballet, modern, street dance, gaga, hip hop and/or jazz), Music for Dance, Embodied Anatomy, and Choreography/Improvisation.
