The Department of Theater and Dance supports the promotion of performances, lectures, guest artists, student achievements, faculty news, and other departmental initiatives.
To ensure adequate planning time and the highest quality promotion, all publicity requests should be submitted using the forms below.
Event & Performance Publicity Request
Use this form to promote:
- Department productions
- Dance concerts
- Guest artists
- Workshops
- Lectures
- Masterclasses
- Public events
- Special programs
Submit this form at least 30 days before your event whenever possible.
The earlier we receive your information, the more opportunities we have to promote your event through multiple channels.

What Happens After You Submit?
Once your request is received:
Community Relations Specialist reviews your submission.
You may be contacted if additional information or materials are needed.
A publicity plan is developed based on the event timeline.
Promotional materials are created and distributed through appropriate channels.
Not every request will utilize every marketing platform. Promotion is tailored to the audience, timeline, and available resources.
